 Scholarships

It is the goal of PWCA and Kinderkirk Preschool that we provide an outreach to the community in the form of an affordable learning institution for the children in our community.  As a community outreach program, we realize there can come a time in anyone's life when they may need some assistance.  It is our premise that we encourage those in need to apply for tuition assistance.

Every school year PWCA and Kinderkirk Preschool strives to assist all of those who are in need of tuition assistance, however, our resources are limited.  No applicant will be given a full waiver of tuition.  Keeping this in mind, we ask all applicants to determine what their tuition abilities are.

If you answer yes to the following questions, you are eligible to apply for tuition assistance.

1. Have you paid the registration fee, activities fee, field trip fee and the required deposit?

2. Are you able to pay a portion of your monthly tuition?

The conditions for receiving tuition assistance from PWCA and Kinderkirk Preschool are:

1. The application must be received within one week of registration.

2. A copy of your previous years income tax form has to be furnished as proof of income.

3. A letter of explanation describing the current circumstances of your financial situation.  (Must be furnished in order to be considered).

4. Volunteering one hour a week at the school, or taking home projects on a weekly basis is required as part of the tuition assistance program.

5. Failure to fulfill the required volunteer time will result in the loss of your assistance.  If you cannot volunteer the day and time agreed upon, the hours missed must be made up within the same month.  Two warnings will be given in writing prior to the termination of your assistance.

6. If your financial situation improves while on assistance, you are required to notify the Director in writing so another family in need may be given assistance.

Please include a letter with any comments or information you feel is important to your situation, and would be of help in considering your application for tuition assistance.
