Kinderkirk Preschool received their fully accredited status from the Association of Christian Schools International in July of 2007.
ACSI's National Early Education Accreditation Commission awarded accreditation status after a three member accreditation team visited the school site for three days observing the teachers, reviewing curriculum and observing the classroom environment. In addition to the accreditation team visit, Kinderkirk influenced performance and the classroom atmosphere submitted a self study report that critiqued eight different areas of the school program. This was a long and involved process that tool almost two years.

Region of ACSI, and a member of the accreditation team stated "I was extremely
impressed with the Ecumenical Church Board and the Kinderkirk School Board for
the longevity and their passion for the school and their reaching out to the
community." Mrs. Carter further commented that as part of the accreditation team
we observed "the heartfelt warmth that all the teachers conveyed for the
children at the school and the cohesiveness among the team."
ACSI accreditation is a national benchmark for early education centers. Schoold engage in a voluntary process of self-evaluation against nationally accepted best practices. Achieving ACSI accreditation states that Kinderkirk achieved standards higher than the state minimum licensing requirements. Very few schools throughout the United States go through the accreditation process and Kinderkirk is the only school in the area to receive accreditation status. The evaluative process scrutinizes the school's philosophy, administration, personnel, curriculum, nutrition and food services, the physical environment, health and safety and their family and community services. The primary goal for accreditation is to designate those qualifying schools to provide children with the optimum environment to grow and develop.
